third annual regional summit, Y-Pro to CEO: Thriving as a Young Professional.
This full day conference will
feature, motivating keynotes and specialized breakout sessions led by local
leaders that are focused on preparing a new generation to lead with vision and
passion.
Ted Schick of Schick Corporate
Learning will kick off the conference with his keynote presentation on
“Positioning Yourself As a Leader: How Great Leaders Inspire Action” Ted is a charismatic corporate trainer, professional
speaker and consultant with his own business, Schick Corporate Learning.
A retired naval officer who rose up from the enlisted ranks, Ted has over 30 years
experience leading people. Learn the dos and don’ts of dining at the conference’s three course etiquette luncheon presented by event expert Jax Eisenmann, held at Greysolon Ballroom.
Mayor Don Ness will conclude the conference with his
keynote presentation on “Work/Life Balance: Methods and Strategies to Keep Your
Life Sane.” Don was elected mayor in 2007 from a field of 12 candidates. Four years
later, Ness became the first mayor to run unopposed since Duluth was
incorporated in 1887. Despite Don’s extremely busy schedule he has found a way
to balance his work and his family life, find out how he does it all.
